I’m under strict instructions from my mother to “find a happy place”. Obviously I’ve reassured her that all is ok in my little land of make believe but she’s not convinced so, here is a happy post!

I’ve blogged before about my happy song (see mum, I can do it!) and this weekend I’m hoping it might get an outing.  It’s disco time in the villages this Saturday:  The lovely @karamina, or Rachael to us locals, aka marathonmummy, is organising a quiz and disco to bump her London Marathon fund raising effort over its £1500 target, and I will be dancing from the minute the quiz ends to the second my gorgeous husband lays down his headphones.

I hope those old enough to remember will have  noted the cultural ref in the title of this one…..there’s no finer dancing movie than this:-

It’s a film that resonates so deeply with me….don’t get me wrong, I have nothing in common with the characters, but I was obviously at my most hormonal when I first watched it and i still LOVE it to this day.

Such a shame you’re not nearer, it would be fun! I’ll tweet a few songs and you can join in remotely 🙂

Thanks for the link Julia, the infinite playlist is a great one, although I don’t know how I’d decide on which to pick (if I got tagged). As you know, it’s not looking good now….dancing shoes may be off! xx
